I have joined the finance department as an assistant professor of finance at the University of Dayton since 2021. Before that, I was an assistant professor of finance at Boise State University. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Ph.D. in Finance, and received a M.B.A degree from Miami University at Ohio and a B.S. in Bioengineering from Fuzhou University.

My research interests are in investment, hedge funds, climate finance, and corporate social responsibility. I have published in journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Review, and others. My papers have been cited by the media, such as AllAboutAlpha and BarclayHedge.
